One of the longest running electronic festivals in the U.S., Movement, is the techno / house lovers dream. The Detroit-based festival typically features an incredibly talented lineup of techno and house DJs, along with some select hip-hop acts, and this year's event is no exception.
Back in December, Movement revealed Carl Cox as it's Monday headliner. Today we found out that the Saturday and Sunday headliners are Richie Hawtin and Testpilot, respectively. After doing some digging, we found out that the latter act is actually deadmau5's side techno project. He recently got flak from fans for delivering a techno set to those expecting a deadmau5 set so perhaps this is inspired from that incident. Regardless, fans who want to see this side of deadmau5 should be very excited.
Another exciting feature on the bill is Claude Vonstroke's hip-hop alias, Barclay Crenshaw. We recently covered his insane new album which you should check out if you haven't already. Others to play the festival include Dixon, Dusky, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Shiba San, Nicole Moudaber, Josh Wink, Thundercat and many more. Hip-hop acts include Juicy J and Earl Sweatshirt.
