Detroit‘s heralded music festival, Movement, has revealed their full lineup for their 2023 event. With Detroit serving as the birthplace of techno music, Movement has always been a landmark event for the genre in the US. This year, however, their bookings stretch all over the map, from massive EDM titans like Skrillex and Kaskade to hip-hop icons Three 6 Mafia to UK pioneers Underworld and Surgeon.
Ultimately, though, the festival is still centered around techno and house. The full lineup features a slew of legendary acts from yesterday and today. Techno purists will be happy to see Robert Hood, Carl Craig, and Moodymann, while Charlotte De Witte, SPFDJ, and FJAAK represent the new school. There are also plenty of artists that fall in between and beyond, like Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Nobu, Maceo Plex, and Seth Troxler.
Movement will take place over the span of Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-29.
