Mr. Carmack, perhaps one of the most prolific producers of our time, has found a home for all of his music. We just found out that Carmack has uploaded his entire discography to the new blockchain streaming platform, Audius. The music dates back to his earliest releases.
If you’ve followed Carmack throughout his career, you know that he can be very impulsive with his SoundCloud account, adding and removing tracks as he so pleases. With SoundCloud, one would also have to worry about music being taken down. This could be especially worrisome for an artist like Carmack, who loves to upload remixes. His music is safe here on Audius.
If you check out his profile on Audius, you’ll find hundreds of tracks, including some of the rare ones that we thought were lost or forgotten. Most recently, he uploaded his sought-after remix of D12’s “My Band” (a tune that probably would have been removed on SoundCloud).
