It’s been quite a while since we’ve shared new music from production duo Mt Eden. But today we have the pleasure of premiering their most recent release, a collaboration with New York-based singer Father Dude, titled, “Anyone”.
The New Zealand-based duo’s latest offering is a refreshing vocal infused track packed with emotion. The song starts off with a warm arp and immediately transitions into some soulful verses from Father Dude. Vocal chops and energetic percussion layer on top of each other throughout the song, leading into an upbeat drop filled with booming bass and abrasive horns.
"When we came together with Father Dude the music and the chemistry just felt right. The song stemmed from a conversation we all had about the constant comparisons we face online with people we know and don't know… this is a song about forgetting those comparison and embracing yourself and your own uniqueness.” – Mt Eden
