MYRNE & Manila Killa Reunite On Dance Collab “Conflicted”

On the third anniversary of their collaborative EP, Fluorescence, MYRNE and Manila Killa figured it was about time for a reunion, and we couldn’t agree more. Yesterday, the duo served up their new track “Conflicted,” a dance banger that “took less than three takes” to get right.

Lead vocal hook, “I don’t want to be alone tonight,” sets the mood for this house-inspired bop, a track absolutely destined for the club. Sparkly synths dance over a bed of lush pads, anchored by a warm, inviting house groove. The two producers balance their creative intuition, Manila Killa emphasizing that the two were “… both on the same wavelength when it comes to our taste and direction.” The two producers make a formidable team, yet again reminding us of their combined prowess with “Conflicted.”

MYRNE commented on the development of “Conflicted,” saying:

It’s one of the first times I actually thought of making music for the club, while in the club. I was at a Soap party in Seoul and they just had the best atmosphere, lights, people and all that.
