For those unfamiliar with the talented artist, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Read our Catch Up Guide on NAO here and get up to speed on the musical journey leading to her biggest release to date.

At 53 minutes, For All We Know doesn’t outstay its welcome. NAO’s full-length debut showcases her unique sound with a polished, heartfelt display. She eagerly opens up with dazzling, sonic reflections on her personal romantic relationships setting the emotional tone across the offering’s 18 tracks.

Studying vocal Jazz at London’s Guildhall School Of Music & Drama, NAO has successfully infused a modern take on her classic schooling. Her silky, soulful voice places seductive tendencies atop coarse, warbling production maintaining an electronic core. The project’s genre-blending approach compliments pop sensibilities with funky, dance-driven baselines and burly, gruff synths combining for a futuristic twist on retro R&B trends.

While the album is worthwhile listening from start to finish, standout tracks include her breakout singles "Bad Blood" and "Fool To Love" in addition to the funk-soaked track "Happy" and "Get To Know Ya", a euphoric Jungle-produced song kicking the album off on a strong note.

NAO’s debut offering is confident and ambitious, yet vulnerable and honest at the same time. She’s positioned herself as one of modern soul’s most promising voices with her eager debut released via her own label, Little Tokyo Records.
