The most recent releases we’ve seen from Neptune Orizon have seen the French producer pushing the limits of ambient downtempo and sound design. His vision is now fully realized on his debut album Seven Relics. Our favorite track off the new album is “Birds Return.”
“Birds Return” is definitely Neptune Orizon’s most club-facing tune yet. This song starts out deceptively slow. He incorporates the same orchestral ingredients that were his strengths in his previous work, but this time adds in an understated house beat. However, the second half completely transforms into a certified club tune with some intense synth work leading up to the drop. Combined with the piano-driven melody, we can call this experimental new direction for Neptune Orizon a complete success.
