Berlin-based singer and producer Noah Slee was given a proper TSIS introduction in early 2016 with his soulful single “Rampant Wild Free”. Since, he has been making waves with singles such as “Radar”, “Sunrise” and “Told” which are all to be included on his debut album Otherland dropping tomorrow, August 25th, via Majestic Casual. However, Noah Slee is kind enough to share one last album cut “Reality” ahead of the full release which TSIS has the privilege to premiere.
"This song sinks deep for me, when I listen to this song it takes me back to how I was feeling. I remember free-styling and I guess venting into the mic. Now I reflect on it, this is a song I was singing to myself that I hope people can connect and relate to. Was super raw I kept the first take and never revisited it after that. I've known Jordan for a few years now when we were both living in Brisbane (Australia) and its a blessing to have him contribute his soul and gifts to ‘Reality’” – Noah Slee
"Really honored to be a part of this project. This track is quite personal to me. It's a commentary on how we can get bombarded in today's society and we lose sight of what is REAL and what is not. When Noah Slee sent this track over, it was at a stage when I could relate completely to the message and was eager to jump on it!” – Jordan Rakei
“Reality” features Jordan Rakei who has worked with some of our favorite artists such as Tom Misch and Mr. Carmack among others. The track exerts passion immediately with deep piano chords, steady percussion and an enchanting vocal melody. Noah Slee’s vocal performance is consistently impressive throughout “Reality” and Jordan Rakei’s contribution accents it very well. The two soulful artists come together creating a powerful track which is to be included on Noah Slee’s anticipated album Otherland, which you can pre-order here. Enjoy
