Watch Overmono’s Legendary Boiler Room Takeover of The Warehouse Project

One of the beautiful things about Boiler Room is that they come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. The latest offering comes by way of buzzing UK duo Overmono who’ve already firmly cemented themselves as one of electronic music’s exciting and original acts.

Earlier this year, Overmono released their rave-focused debut album and have been tearing up dancefloors with their award-winning audio-visual live show ever since. Today, Boiler Room has released a rare stream of their performance as part of a takeover of The Warehouse Project in Manchester.

The sold-out event was the stuff of legends, with fans desperately calling for the stream to be released. And now it’s clear why. Overmono expertly balance big room heat, functional dance floor cuts and subtle experimentation over the course of the seventy minute performance. A clear highlight comes when the duo bring out Irish vocalist For Those I Love to perform their remix of “I Have A Love,” sending the crowd into a complete frenzy.

Their audio station looks like something out of a recording studio as the duo bounce back and forth between various MIDI controllers, decks, and keyboards. The Warehouse Project, with its high-rising ceilings and vast expansiveness, prove to be the perfect setting for the show, easily making this one of the most epic Boiler Rooms we’ve watched all year.
