Palm Makes His TSIS Debut with Indie Electronic EP ‘SKYSBLUE’

Growing up on Skrillex, The Chainsmokers, and Martin Garrix, rising producer, Palm, emerges with a powerful combination of influences, and a sound truly unique to him. Palm’s last official release came in his debut year of 2021, with “Dream of Me.” The artist returns in 2024, making his TSIS debut with SKYSBLUE.

The rising producer demonstrates his love for indie pop vocal hooks and main-stage EDM drops through eclectic genre-fusion on SKYSBLUE. A bright overtone is maintained throughout the EP, highlighting the positive message behind its namesake. A vocal-forward introductory track with hints of rock influence leads us further and further into electronic territory as we continue to the end of SKYSBLUE.

Palm commented on the writing process for focus track, “LOST MYSELF,” sharing:

LOST MYSELF is a really special track to me. The idea and structure of the song all came together in one night during the spring. I’ve always loved indie music growing up and really got into it this past year. I wanted to blend indie and electronic music, so I started off a session listening to Pauline Herr’s vocals and writing the rest of the song sort of just fell into place. It felt like I had something going when the guitars and vocals were played together. I just kept building up the track adding an atmosphere and of course dreamy synths playing alongside it.
