Jauz decided to surprise fans late Friday night with a remix of Passion Pit's "Sleepyhead" that explores a lighter sound than his signature bass house style. The bubbly remake incorporates swelling future bass chords, 8-bit accents and the original's well-known falsetto vocals. Jauz said the following about the release:
