Phil Good, the LA-based multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer, is back with his latest single “I Miss You”. This release is following his TSIS debut in January with his contagious single “Growing Up”. Additionally, he recently contributed a vocal element to rising producer K?D’s single, “Lose Myself”. The latest offering from Phil Good is equally as infectious as his previous, blending indie and electronic elements seamlessly and we're excited to premiere his latest.
“I Miss You is the first song in a while that just poured out of me. I wrote it during a visit home last Christmas on one of my best friends' couch while looking out at a pretty incredible wintery view of Portland. Everything was movie-perfect except for the fact that the love of my life with was not there with me. I think writing and producing this song really helped me better understand this project and pave a clearer path of the future of Phil Good and the type of catchy-but-not-too-happy music I want to make.” – Phil Good
He really nailed the “catchy-but-not-too-happy” vibe with “I Miss You”. The track is bouncy and uplifting on the surface but includes vocals with a contradicting message. It revolves around elaborate synths, up-tempo percussion and Phil Good’s captivating vocals. “I Miss You” solidifies Phil Good’s status as a rising artist to most definitely keep on your radar. Enjoy!
