When done right, melodic house productions offer a special dose of peace and serenity to the listener. Bali-based producer and artist, Pippi Ciez, has perfected the art, serving up his ethereal Limitless EP via All Day I Dream.
A soft, thudding kick introduces the first track of the EP, slowly building in depth with the addition of euphoric piano chords and delicate synths. The title track comes in next with a more upbeat groove, focusing on syncopated rhythms, and a deep, saturated synth bass line. Rounding out the EP, “Guardians” is the most melody-centric of the lineup, bringing the listener into a meditative state.
