It’s surprisingly been almost a whole year since Porter Robinson had announced his highly-anticipated sophomore album, nurture. After spending 2020 with an elongated rollout, sparsely dropping singles (“Get Your Wish,” “Something Comforting,” and “Mirror“), Porter has announced that the “album is 100% finished.”
He also went into further detail, saying the album will be dropping within the next couple months, confirming a 2021 release date. There will be “a single or two” that will come out before the album officially drops.
Fans of course know that Porter’s Worlds in 2014 was accompanied by a brilliant live show, and it looks like nurture will be getting the same treatment. In the same Instagram post he says that in celebration of the album’s completion, he’s now immediately going to be working on the live show.
