One of the amazing things about music is that it can come from anyone, anywhere. Our latest premiere comes from rising star, Amilli, hailing from the small unassuming German town of Bochum. Amilli has been garnering a fast reputation with her smokey vocals and silken production, and today we’re hyped to be premiering her latest single, “Green Eyes.“
Amilli’s songwriting flows like that of a seasoned vet. Singing lines like, “ever since I came around, the green in your eyes turned richer, many of the girls in town seem jealous of the picture,” her lyrics ooze with confidence and independence. As her spellbinding tone and floats above a serene yet sensuous back beat, it’s plain to see why the world is falling head over heels for this newcomer.
Amilli had this to say on the writing of “Green Eyes”:
In June, I went on a little trip writing trip in the wilderness with my producer and engineer. “Green Eyes“ came about in only a few hours – it was a really spontaneous and impulsive process. It had this special groove right from the beginning.
