Bass champion Dirt Monkey and vibe master Father Funk have teamed up to give us “Monkey Funk“, a raunchy, hard hitting and groovy combination of these two artists’ sounds. We’re stoked to see these two talents come together and to have them on the site via premiere of their latest release.
“Monkey Funk” features a persistent tasteful guitar lick backed by knocking drums to set the tone of the piece. The atmospheres created are pristine in their attempt to get the party started and put you in the right space to move. The energy only goes up from here as the drops feature some filthy bass work. Contrasting in an elegant way, we’re able get our funk on while simultaneously rocking our body with the slamming low end.
