It’s no secret that DJ Craze is one of drum & bass’s best. The multi-faceted artist has garnered the high respect from all corners of the industry for a reason. When we saw his name pop up on the list of remixers for Tchami‘s “Proud,” we had to get our hands on the track.
While the five other remixes in the package are different forms of bassy house tracks, DJ Craze was the only one to morph Tchami’s feel-good “Proud” into an entirely new animal. While retaining Tchami’s wistful, dreamy vibe for the foundation of the tune, DJ Craze uses gritty saw synths to turn into a weapon that would be a lethal switch-up in any set.
