Today we have the pleasure of introducing Quebec City-based duo Fjord with the premiere of their dreamy new song “My Body So Calm” that I already can’t get enough of. This new single features comes off their forthcoming sophomore 6-track EP Shallow Waters and showcases their unique sound blending downtempo production with airy R&B vocals.
The duo comprised of Thomas Casault and Louis-Étienne Santai capture an atmospheric vibe throughout with the ethereal vocals floating buoyantly atop the production. The foundation of “My Body So Calm” is characterized by soft piano chords combined with gentle guitar plucks, a lush soundscape and bouncing drums trying it all together.
