Lucas Starbuck, or Starbuck, is the Los Angeles based California native that’s doing something really special between the worlds of indie and electronic music. He creates with a focus to pull emotions out of the listener through his music and that’s exactly what he’s done with his latest. Today, we are thrilled to invite Starbuck onto the website via premiere of his new single, “Humming,” featuring Denny McAuliffe.
“Humming” is an emotive and intoxicating piece filled with rich lyricism and gentle sonic textures. Handpicked sounds of soft percussion and spaced out synths and vocals place you in state of nostalgic surrealism before pulling you back into your body. A steady groove takes over as vocals whisper in your ear, pulling you into the moment and serenity washes over you.
