No matter your taste when it comes to music, we can all agree that when you come across a track that’s got great swing, it shines among the rest. Los Angeles-based producer Daniel Allan describes his own signature sound as “pop that knocks”, and we’re inclined to agree.
On his new single “Insomnia” he sets out to capture the vibe of a new relationship. He invokes that feeling we’ve all caught whenever we first meet someone that we know we’ll end up spending more time around. The bouncy pop melody, the hip hop-influenced percussion, and the glitchy production style are all meant to play up the sense of excitement, overthinking, and inevitable insomnia that can result from such a meeting.
Allan has already reached over one million streams within his first year of releasing music, and with this new arrival, he’s definitely set to add to that number. Check out “Insomnia” below. Enjoy!
