We’ve been covering Colorado electro-soul queen, Maddy O’Neal, for a while now and we have no plans on changing that anytime soon. She released her soulful sophomore album, Ricochet, last year and is just coming off her debut Coachella performance. Today, we’re offering you an exclusive first listen of her brand new collaborative single, “Here’s To You,” featuring fellow Denver-based producer UnderLux.
Maddy and UnderLux have both earned their rightful places within the funkier factions of electronic music. “Here’s To You” combines Maddy’s swagger-filled, vibrant production sensibility with UnderLux’s own colorful, bouncy style. The pair infuse the high-octane bass track with just the right amount of funky melodies and hip-hop undertones to perfectly encapsulate Denver’s unmistakeable electro soul sound.
