PREMIERE | Marsh Offers A Taste Of New Album With Progressive House Tune, “Foss”

||, |, ,

Ahead of his much-anticipated album dropping this week, melodic house artist Marsh gives us a sneak peek of what he’s been crafting with the uplifting new track “Foss.” This new music from the British DJ (who has toured with Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy and has a global fanbase) is being released by our friends at London-based label Anjunadeep—so you already know it’s an emotive techno treat.

The song starts out with ethereal, flowy chords but quickly picks up with Marsh’s punchy bassline and the introduction of songstress Mimi Page’s soulful voice. Her angelic pitch carries the trance-inducing tune along in perfect harmony. There’s a very light and hopeful feel to the beat, making it seem like a breath of fresh air and a boost of endorphins all in one.

Shot on location in Iceland, the video showcases sweeping shots of frozen landscapes and coastal scenes and is a gorgeous juxtaposition to the song’s airy vibe.

Dropping November 20, his sophomore album Lailonie has 12 tracks filled with this enchanting sound. The record is a “safe space” and deeply personal to Marsh, who named it after his wife and produced it while processing some major life events. Enjoy!
