Today we’re excited to be introducing a talented new duo to the site. Playyard is comprised of Michael Sack and Henry Morris, who met as freshman roommates at UCSB and turned their dorm room into a recording studio. Now we have the premiere of their new song “Coffee” and it’s just the chill vibe that’s perfect to kick your weekend off to.
The two artists have a unique sound blending jazzy elements of guitar and piano along with poppy R&B vocals that’s showcased on “Coffee.” This new track has a laidback melody that pairs effortlessly with the uplifting vocals making for a distinct sound I’m already loving. I’m stoked to see what else they’ve been working on as they’ve already found an impressive sound on their first couple releases. Enjoy!
