PREMIERE | Stickybuds and K+Lab Return with Funky Bass Filled Collab “Feel The Weight”

Sometimes music is more effective at waking you up and getting you out of bed than caffeine. That’s exactly the case with the latest offering “Feel The Weight” from frequent collaborators Stickybuds and K+Lab.

“Feel The Weight” is a funky, sax-filled trip-hop banger, featuring soulful vocals over heavy bass drops. It’s easy to imagine this song featuring as the backdrop for a Marvel movie fight scene, although maybe that’s because one of the most recent tracks “Clap Ya Hands Now” from this duo was featured in the official trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming.

K+Lab described their synergistic collaboration process as:

Each track has taken around a year to finish (no joke) sending files back and forth a million times… Tyler [Stickybuds] is pedantic AF and has such a good ear for the details that we spent a week trying to fix one sound that I couldn’t hear that he could. It’s all about the results and persevering through and this track is a classic Stickylab production.

What I love about a song like this is that it hypes you up no matter what environment you listen to it in. Regardless of if you’re trying to get out of a mid-day work slump, working out, shredding on the slopes, or head banging at a festival, this song slaps.

You can check out this exclusive TSIS premiere below. It’s out on Westwood Recordings tomorrow, March 11. Enjoy!
