The right remix can bring a whole new vibe to just about any song, and our latest premiere is a perfect example. Up-and-coming dream pop producer, Tyzo Bloom, has taken A Kid Named Rufus’ emotional hit “Useless” and given it a boost of passionate remix energy.
The original version of this track was a relatively easy-going vocal jam, but Tyzo put an effervescent touch on this track that fits just right. A reinforced drum rack and alternating choruses of bouncing shimmering synths add an uplifting spirit, while the use of enhanced chopped up vocal layers provides welcome support through the verses and creates a dynamic drop.
The LA-based producer is beginning to make some serious waves with exciting releases like this one, and we can’t wait to hear what’s next. Stream Tyzo Bloom’s remix of A Kid Named Rufus’ “Useless” below. Enjoy!
