PREMIERE | House Music Ace Harry Romero Shares Fiery Remix for Francisco Allendes’s “What You Do”

Every so often you come across the perfect house track. That’s what Francisco Allendes manifested when he created “What You Do,” a buzzing, tech-house groover that has been field-tested and subsequently signed by dance music pro, Damian Lazarus. That tune comes out tomorrow on Allendes’ What You Do EP. Today, we’re thrilled to premiere Harry Romero’s take on it, which strips it back, redesigning the rhythm and adding his own naughty little flair.

While Allendes may have struck gold with the original, he picked the perfect man to remix “What You Do.” Romero doesn’t try to do too much with this one, but what he does has a major impact. A brand new, minimal bassline gives the track an even moodier feel while keeping the addicting vocals that Allendes supplied. This one is an absolute club weapon, along with its brother, and we can picture them both going off when delivered at the right time.

You can get the first listen to Harry Romero’s new remix below. Be sure to check out the full EP from Francisco Allendes tomorrow, via Crosstown Rebels. Enjoy!
