Brace yourselves. The powerhouse duo of Mr. Carmack and Promnite, better known as Project Paradis, is making a gloriously heavy return by releasing two new singles off a new album, Paradis 2, set to release on March 27 via Mad Decent.
These two wild cuts pick up right where this destructive duo left off with the dystopian theme of Paradis 1. The singles, titled “Stockholm Syndrome” and “Cut 11,” are two mind-meltingly unique tracks. “Stockholm Syndrome” is a mid-tempo bass cannon that drags lines of menacing synth saws through your speakers. “Cut 11,” is an exhilarating heater that stimulates listeners with a pounding uptempo bass line and broken, rapid fire vocal samples. The relentless trap production with dark, industrial accents is simply a thing of apocalyptic beauty.
Carmack and Promnite hold nothing back in the initial return as Project Paradis and we’re psyched to see what comes next in the rest of Paradis 2. Stream “Stockholm Syndrome” and “Cut 11” below and enjoy!
