Rising Producer QUIX Drops Insane Bass-Heavy Track “STORM”

||

After a string of extra-heavy releases to finish out 2017, QUIX is launching his sound into the stratosphere with his brand new original track “STORM”. Coming in hot off of an impressive string of collabs with the likes of Slumberjack, josh pan, What So Not, KRANE and Ekali, this New Zealand native is jumping back into his own brand of intense electronica.

“STORM” may not have the typical, sweeping trap hits that QUIX fans have come to know and love but the flawless percussion and innovative breakdowns before each drop are sure signs of QUIX pushing his production and style past old boundaries. The initial buildup is chaotic and heavily industrial before it comes to a grinding, bass-laden halt that takes listeners by surprise. What comes next is an explosion of energy that culminates in a scream and a heavy, drawn-out, uniquely designed synth hit on the drop. This all-encompassing sound becomes the centerpiece for the track, occasionally breaking apart only to come back harder.

If this track gets you hyped check out his recent Too Future Mix and be sure to catch QUIX on his upcoming tour across North America. Enjoy!
