Ravenscoon Releases Transformative Sophomore Album ‘Glass Orchid’

||, |,

Bass music talent Ravenscoon is starting 2025 with a bang with the release of his sophomore album, Glass Orchid. Standing at 11-tracks, the project is extremely diverse, with themes of transformation, love and loss, and sounds ranging from face-melting bangers to longing and dreamy numbers.

The album is an exact reflection of the Glass Orchid. Beautiful and lasting, yet fragile. Songs that make you want to headbang followed by songs that emotionally really hit home. And the best part of it is that it works seamlessly. The album starts strong, with previously released single “CHECKMATE” being a highlight, followed by a banger in “ACTIVATE” with Al Kapone, before moving into the title track “GLASS ORCHID” featuring Kambii that’ll put you into a dream-like state with its wavy synths and rumbling basslines. “BLACK & BLUE” with Jessy Covets where she sings about betrayal and heartbreak transitions into “FUSE” with MLOTIK which is maybe the biggest and baddest song on the entire album. The album moves back and forth between tracks that’ll make you high and bring you back low, making it a continuous beautiful journey.

On the album Ravenscoon says,

“Glass Orchid represents transformation. Beauty, and the fragility of both love and loss—how they combine to create something ephemeral and simultaneously lasting. The orchid—beautiful and mysterious, but made of glass—ready to break at any moment’s notice.”

After celebrating the release of his album at an exclusive listening party in Denver at The Black Box, Ravenscoon is set to begin part two of the Glass Orchid tour beginning tonight in Tempe, AZ with stops in Brooklyn, Chicago, Dallas, the Mission Ballroom in Denver, and more.
