What started as a SoundCloud deep cut that was released during the early years of Rezz’s career has now been seriously modified to deliver more bite, more power, and a sleeker energy. The signature mid-tempo bump is there, but properly juiced up with fresh percussions elements and more technical, extended feel.
Heavily rinsed in live sets over the years, the original “Contorted” became an anticipated moment in her PORTAL show. The key hook of this live show moment being how the visual design synced and pulsed perfectly in time with the music – turning the entire thing into an audio-visual wormhole.
