Many were starting to wonder if Rihanna was ever going to return to the music industry again with new music. This morning, the iconic artist and fashion mogul announced a new song called “Lift Me Up,” which is set to drop this Friday, October 28.
The song will appear on the Wakanda Forever soundtrack. The film is a sequel to the Marvel Studios blockbuster, The Black Panther. If you remember, The Black Panther had an amazing soundtrack that was spearheaded by Kendrick Lamar.
We’re eager to see what other music will appear on the soundtrack.
“Lift Me Up” will be Rihanna’s first piece of solo original music in over six years.
Just a month ago, it was announced that Rihanna will be performing at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
