It’s been since 2014 that RL Grime dropped his debut album Void, and now he’s shared the first track off his upcoming sophomore album. He’s decided to give fans a free download of his new song “Reims” via a newsletter to his fans with the message below.

Towards the end of last year RL shared the exciting news with Triple J that he would be releasing his new album this year and touring around the project. This new track builds on the sound we’ve come to love from RL as we now have new music to hold us over a bit longer. “Reims” has an epic, cinematic intro that builds up with atmospheric melodies alongside rumbling basslines. The track takes off during the drop that combines shimmering synths, slashing melodies and well-placed vocal chops on the mystical track. Grab the free download below and enjoy!
