San Holo Announces New Indie Album, Drops New Single “find your way”

|||,

San Holo is starting a new chapter in his musical career. The beloved artist and bitbird boss shared news this morning that he plans on taking a new indie direction with his music. San Holo’s sound has been moving towards a more instrumental, indie/electronic style, which was evident on his last single “bb u ok?” Now, he has committed a 20-track project to that sound with the announcement of a new album with the same name, bb u ok? This announcement comes along with a new single called “find your way,” featuring Bipolar Sunshine.

The new album already has a set release date of May 21, and has list of some very impressive guest features. You can expect to hear collabs with American Football, The Nicholas, Chet Porter, Mija, Mr. Carmack, and Weezer’s River Cuomo.

This is what San Holo had to say about writing this new album:

I tend to look at the music I put out as different chapters in my life … I wrote ‘bb u ok?’ during a new chapter of my life … I was learning how to deal with what happens “after love.” I flew to LA and just started writing and writing, trying to express everything I had been feeling for the last few months. The change in scenery definitely helped, going back to LA (like I did for album1) brought back some good memories of that previous chapter.”

You can check out the second single from bb u ok? below. Enjoy!
