San Holo & Broods‘ recent collab is undoubtedly already one of our favorite releases of 2020. Today, it’s been taken up a notch, as the pair have recruited none other than Lunice on a fresh new remix of “Honest“.
Lunice has definitely been busy as of late, having recently reunited with Hudson Mohawke on their triumphant return as TNGHT. This latest offering from the trap legend takes things in a fresh new direction that we’re absolutely loving.
Featuring a crunchy, subdued sound compared to the original, Lunice has effectively stripped “Honest” to its bones and injected shrill, plucked synths, wonky vocal chops, skittering percussion and booming bass stabs to create his own unique monster. Stream the fresh new flip below and enjoy!
