Dutch producer / DJ legend and now Doorn Records head Sander van Doorn have linked up LA transplant duo DVBBS (the guys responsible for the international hit "Tsunami", "Raveology" among others) and rising young Dutch superstar Martin Garrix have joined forces to create a collaborative new song "Sundown". Although it's still early, it feels like it could be one of biggest summer festival anthems this year.
The song has just recently surfaced from Martin playing it out live this past week (see video below) and was mislabeled about it being a collaboration between solely Martin Garrix and Sander van Doorn, but we were in LA in the studio with DVBBS late last year where they were actually playing us some early stages of production of this exact song that they were sending back and forth with Sander and Martin as a mssive collaboration. They couldn't be more thrilled to have been able to work with one of their influences, Sander on a track, and furthermore the song is the first ever of theirs to feature Alex of DVBBS's vocals.
The song musically blends their inducing style along with a newer melody driven progressive house side for an unbeatable combination ready to shut down festivals in a whole new way across the globe.
All we have for now is this rip from Sander's radio show, but will keep you posted as more details on this massive track that will guaranteed to be coming out through Spinnin Records in the new few months.
