German-born New Zealand-residing rising artist Sanoi has released his latest album Echoes of Home. This eight-track album traverses the waves of bouncy house, deep house, and techno that is perfect for the coming winter season.
The star of Echoes of Home is “Silver,” a collaboration with Beacon Bloom. It’s a nearly seven-minute masterpiece that is feel-good, yet with heavy elements toward the end. “Moon Boy” is a tranquil soundscape that leaves you floating in space. Speaking of space, “Zero Gravity” is a playful track with so many various sounds added in that it always keeps you guessing.
On the album, Sanoi says,
“Echoes of Home is a step in a different direction from my previous work. I have tried to challenge my usual approach, and move away from my old writing habits. With this album, I tried to challenge that impulse and not take the easy route.”
