There’s nothing we love more than discovering talented new artists that impress us right off the bat. That’s exactly what we have with Los Angeles-based Indie / R&B artist Saro, who we have the pleasure of linking up with for the premiere of his latest single “Sardonic.”
There’s something to be said for vocalists who find the perfect production to compliment their voice, and Saro has an incredible ear for this. We heard this now as we have in past singles like “Test” and “Eyelids,” which I highly recommend checking out if you haven’t heard yet. Saro’s vocal range is put on full display on “Sardonic” as his silky voice effortlessly transitions to breezy falsetto in a way that hits just right.
The shapeshifting production evolves throughout, evoking a variety of emotions as it switches between bright and cinematic to ominous and brooding, serving as the perfect foundation for Saro’s vocals and songwriting to shine. We’re excited to see what’s next for this rising talent. This new single comes early off Saro’s Boy Afraid EP, which is due in full tomorrow (Dec. 15) so stay tuned for the full project and enjoy!
