What's purple, most likely green ($$$) and has "blockbuster" written all over it? The answer is Skrillex's brand new collaboration with Rick Ross, "Purple Lamborghini", on the Suicide Squad soundtrack. The summer blockbuster's track list boasts an impressive lineup of A-list acts from Wiz Khalifa to Eminem to Panic! At The Disco.
Skrillex & Rick Ross Link Up For Possible Suicide Squad Theme Song
Skrillex debuted the dubstep heater at Atlantic City's Wav Nightclub as an unreleased ID in early April, creating a flurry of buzz around the track. "Purple Lamborghini" fits like a glove into any party playlist given its blood-pumping intensity that's backed by a strong brass foundation and is backed by a strong brass foundation and incessant percussion.
Wiz Khalifa, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign & More Collaborate on Massive Single, “Sucker For Pain”
While a banger between Skrillex and Rick Ross may come as a pleasant surprise, the OWSLA is no stranger to hip-hop collaborations, having worked with Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, The Game and several others in the past. Rick Ross has even said that Skrillex will be featured on his album set to come out later this year! Suicide Squad, along with its soundtrack, will be released in theaters worldwide on Aug. 5 (yes, the same day DJ Snake's Encore album drops). Until then, stream "Purple Lamborhini" below and enjoy!
