Last month, bedroom pop artist spill tab released her latest single “PISTOLWHIP”, a glitchy and distorted song about the layers of heartbreak. Now the songstress is back with a raw and reimagined live video of the track courtesy of VEVO DSCVR. It’s an intimate performance that feels like “PISTOLWHIP” is leveling up.
For the video, it’s just spill tab (Claire Chicha) and her microphone and musician Marinelli and his guitar, alone in an expansive and glowing room. Between her powerful voice and the strong strum of the guitar strings that come in later on, it’s hard to identify the most electric part of the short performance. You really get to experience the energy behind the song come to life, and see the passion and emotion in action.
