Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo has been one of the most confusing, widely covered album rollouts we’ve witnessed, and he’s finally delivered the finished product! He’s shown just how relevant he really is by his consistent press coverage over the past few months. From updating his album title and tracklist numerous times, to his yeezy line of shoes, to his Twitter rants, he seems to have mastered the art of generating headlines as Kanye hype is at an all time high.
He recently packed Madison Square Garden to play his album publicly for the first time, and In typical Kanye fashion the event was a spectacle. The massive listening party was streamed live by Tidal as the live event was also an artistic unveiling of his Yeezy Season 3 designs to kick off the first day of New York Fashion Week.
He just wrapped up an exciting performance live on Saturday Night Live and blurted out that the album is out now on Kanyewest.com. The finished album consists of 18 tracks and brings on guest features from Chance The Rapper, Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Young Thug, and more! As the featured guest for SNL, he put on a captivating performance for “Highlights” alongside The Dream, Young Thug, Kelly Price, and El DeBarge. He then hilariously rapped “I Love Kanye” on camera when SNL actor Kyle Mooney instigated a 'freestyle rap battle' with Kanye backstage. To wrap up the show, he also played his new gospel inspired track “Ultra Light Beam” live with Chance The Rapper, The Dream, and an entire backing choir for an incredible performance before announcing the album is available for purchase and is steaming on Tidal.
