One of the biggest buzzes in EDM lately has been the hype building for Philly native Subtronics to drop his debut album. He has skyrocketed in popularity the last few years, putting out tons of music and climbing to the top of festival lineups. Subtronics’ wild trajectory has now climaxed with a new 16-track, full-length album titled FRACTALS

Make sure to block out an hour or so of free time when you bump this because I guarantee you will get lost in the sauce. Every single track on here has a colossal sound, and he enlisted the help of a few bass music heavyweights on some of them.

The opening, “O.P.U.S.,” has an insane buildup and the kind of drop that can give you whiplash. “Gassed Up, with Zeds Dead and Flowdan is wickedly filthy. Boogie T comes in on “Gummy Worm” to shred the hell out the guitar over a dubby backing and “Flute Dub” is so funky and fresh, you’ll risk permanent stank face by listening. Each number is unique but overall the record will undeniably be one of the biggest for dubstep this year.

You can blast FRACTALS below. Enjoy!
