Tame Impala Link Up With English Rap Group The Streets On New Single

||, |, ,

Kevin Parker has been staying busy in this turbulent year of 2020. We’re still very much enjoying his most recent album, The Slow Rush, however we already have new music to listen to!

Today, Tame Impala linked up with prolific UK rap group The Streets, led by Mike Skinner, on their new song “Call My Phone Thinking I’m Doing Nothing Better.” It’s the first single that’s off The Streets’ forthcoming project None of Us Are Getting Out of This Life Alive, which is out this July and also features a slew of other artists. Kevin Parker is on chorus duties for this one, pairing up very nicely with the verses from Mike Skinner. This collab is a perfect vibe combo of Tame Impala’s psychedelia and The Streets’ precise, rhythmic lyricism.
