Andrea Graham, better known by her stage name, The Librarian, is a renowned Canadian DJ, producer, and curator. And if that wasn’t already enough, she’s also the co-founder and music director of Bass Coast Music Festival. Much like her personality, her music is diverse; a blend of bass music, dubstep, grime, footwork, jungle, drum n bass, and more. Today, we’re excited to be sharing with you her double-sided single, “Howe Sound/miss u.”

The first track, “Howe Sound,” is an ode to the Squamish People and the sacred, indigenous land she calls home in British Columbia. The song explores a deep sonic palette fitted with low-end bass and synths, haunting melodies, and an evolving drum pattern. “miss u” flirts with a more footwork/juke driven beat and amps up the tempo. Similar haunting melodies play amidst an atmospheric and textural soundscape for a unique cerebral listening experience.

“Howe Sound/miss u” serve as the lead singles off The Librarian’s upcoming new EP, miss u, which is set to release on March 25. For now though you can stream the double-single below. Enjoy!
