This year Tory Lanez has established himself as one of the premier singers / rappers in the game, racking up collaborations with Snakehips, Shlohmo, Benzel, RL Grime, and more. He’s back at it with the video for “Say It,” a single off his forthcoming debut album set to release via Benny Blanco’s Mad Love/Interscope imprint. We imagine this new album will be a success, as Blanco has a good track record of producing radio hits, including previous works with Jessie J, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Wiz Khalifa, and many more. This video shows Tory kickin’ it on a stoop with his homies, until a girl catches his eye, which he pursues for the remainder of the video. His whispy vocals work in a very catchy way, with the call & response backing vocals on the chorus over the minimalist beat in additon to a pressing, deep, bassline which make for an infectious tune that is shaping up to be one of the R&B hits of summer.
