Donald Trump Pardons Lil Wayne & Kodak Black On Final Day As President

We’ve been hearing about it all week, but the fact that it’s actually gone down is still bewildering. Donald Trump, on his last day as president of the United States, has issued a full pardon to Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., aka Lil Wayne. In addition, he has also commuted the sentences of rapper Kodak Black and Death Row Records co-founder, Harry O.

Out of all the bizarre things we saw during this past year, I don’t think any of us had “pardon Lil Wayne and Kodak Black” on their 2021 bingo card. These were just a few of the 70 pardons and 73 commutations that Trump granted last night. Lil Wayne was serving time for a gun charge, while Kodak Black was back in prison for lying on a federal document.
