Tycho Follows Up ‘Infinite Health’ With Refreshed EP ‘Where You Are’

Just three months after Tycho’s milestone seventh album Infinite Health, he has just delivered a brand new EP in Where You Are. Available now via Mom + Pop Music and Ninja Tune, this 6-track project can be seen as a separate yet connected release to Infinite Health. With new versions of that album’s title track, along with a couple newcomers, Tycho wraps up this year giving us one more dose of musical magic.

Infinite Health” the track served as the centerpiece of Tycho’s last album and is front and centar again on this EP. This new version features vocal contributions from Cautious Clay, which add another layer to the already breathtaking track. Tycho felt that the vocal version needed to stand on its own, laying the foundation for Where You Are.

The EP also includes an extended edit of the original version of “Infinite Health” without Cautious Clay’s vocals, as well as two new tracks in “To Everywhere Pt. 1” and “To Everwhere Pt. 2” with both tracks coming in at just over one minute long. Pt. 1 seamlessly rolls over to Pt. 2 in yet another example of Tycho’s gift of melody.

Tycho had this to share,

“To make the most positive impact on the people you love and the people that love you, you have to be the healthiest, strongest version of yourself and that includes both physical and emotional health,” says Tycho’s Scott Hansen. “Music has a unique ability to heal and help people with things they are going through. It’s always been my goal when I consume music to find a meditation or a healing property in it. And I only hope that my music can do that for people.”
