Vince Staples has shared his incredible new song “Big Fish” along with a fitting music video. Vince has been teasing this new release and it’s just what we wanted to hear from the talented rapper.
Vince took to Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show to debut this new song and reveal that his next album is titled Big Fish Theory and is due June 23 and he even said he made this song in 15-20 minutes. “Big Fish” follows up Vince’s other incredible recent single “BagBak” as we impatiently await the full album. The bouncing beat brings a slow rolling bassline with running water samples trickling in the background giving the sound an underwater feel for Vince to shine atop. Vince shared that the album is about “being larger than life in a smaller world” and is the much-anticipated follow-up to his Summertime 06 album.
When Zane Lowe asked who is on the album Vince said he’s not saying they’re necessarily on the album or not but started shouting out some homies hinting they might be on the album including Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Gorillaz, Flume, Bon Iver, The Temptations and more. Enjoy!
