Kendrick Lamar and Spotify teamed up this past weekend to deliver a brand new mini-documentary titled A Day in Ghana with Kendrick Lamar. The short film follows Kendrick Lamar through the city of Accra, Ghana, following the release of his most recent album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.
The video shows Kendrick discussing the new album, calling it his “most present” body of work. He visits the Freedom Skatepark, which was funded by the late designer, Virgil Abloh. The film also takes us to a scene of him relaxing on a Ghanian beach. The doc is brief, clocking in at just three and half minutes.
