What So Not Impresses With Debut Solo ‘Divide & Conquer’ EP

||, |,

TSIS has been closely tracking What So Not's debut Divide & Conquer EP as a solo artist over the course of 2016 so we're glad to finally present the seven-track project in its entirety. The release comes on OWSLA and boasts a handful of strong singles that have already surfaced on the site, including the experimental title track and "Buried" with George Maple and Rome Fortune.

The Australia producer travels in several creative directions with the EP, tapping into future bass, hip-hop, downtempo and even classical music with the "Severance" interlude. The body of work also showcases a wide energy arc in which some productions dip to a slow, somber progression while others are rejuventated with energetic, empowering melodies. What So Not's Divide & Conquer North American tour kicks off Sept. 15 and will be largest headlining endeavor yet. Stream the EP below and be sure to check out his tour dates. Enjoy!
