Winter Music Conference Announces Round Two Of Programming For 35th Anniversary Event

Winter Music Conference has long been one of the most important events in electronic music. Having continued to provide a platform to showcase the newest in music, technology, education and culture for 35 years now – with round two of their programming announced today, we’re excited to have signed on as media partners for the first time ever to bring you the insider info on this truly one of a kind event.

It’s no secret that Miami Music Week is top tier amongst the long list of coveted music industry experiences. As the seven-day event has been home to Winter Music Conference (WMC), Ultra Miami and countless crazy artist/label showcases for quite some time – it’s always a pleasure to find out what new and exciting happenings are going on in Miami.

And while WMC caught our eye back in December by announcing YouTube’s Global Head of Music Lyor Cohen, Ultra Music Founder Patrick Moxey, GRAMMY-nominated duo Sofi Tukker, Seth Troxler and more to speak at their annual conference, round two has brought with it some incredible new developments.

With this latest reveal comes quite a few unique opportunities to all types of music lovers and industry professionals alike. Considering Chris Lake, J. Worra, Morgan Page, UZ & more have now joined on as speakers alongside exhibitors like Denon DJ, Guitar Center, iZotope, Novation, Pioneer DJ and others – there’s a little something for everyone on this years lineup.

And featuring industry panels on success in music streaming, how to get started in film & television, the future of music social media + loads more, whether you’re a bedroom producer, indie hopeful, aspiring journalist, hobby photographer or even would-be industry giant, WMC 35 is offering up a wealth of inclusive programming.

As announced in round one, WMC will not only provide an educational summit for DJs / producers and mentor sessions for industry newcomers – but a new type of fireside chat called Signed On The Spot (SOTS). This forum invites aspiring artists and producers to submit original demos for a chance to be discovered and signed by some of the leading international electronic music labels.
